Dr. Liu has over 25 years of experience in mining and contaminant hydrogeology as well as the development and implementation of numerical groundwater flow models.
He has worked and directed numerous mining hydrogeology projects worldwide. He also has extensive experience in the code development of MINEDW, as well as more than 25 years of groundwater flow modeling experience using other codes.
He taught mining hydrogeology short courses at the Society of Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SME), Cameco, and the American Rock Mechanics Association (ARMA).
Additionally, he has served as an expert in regulatory hearings, to other consulting companies, and for Due Diligence reviews. He is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Colorado and specializes in mining and contaminant hydrogeology as well as groundwater flow modeling.
