Senior Project Hydrogeologist
Mr. Tonsberg is an experienced mine hydrogeologist and is the primary groundwater modeler for several ongoing projects with mines around the world. He has developed and calibrated groundwater flow models for pit-slope stability analysis and dewatering using MINEDW. In addition, he has also constructed groundwater flow models for contaminant transport evaluation using MODFLOW. He has extensive experience in conducting a variety of field tests at numerous open pit and underground mines to gather the necessary data to develop groundwater flow models.
